Jackrabbit Johannsen
Herman Smith Johannsen, a Norwegian by birth, was nicknamed Jackrabbit by the Firsts Nations for his remarkable ability to get around the trails quickly on skis. He was one of the first to introduce nordic skiing to America and he is known as “le skieur centenaire”.
